This is Where We Make Our Last Stand

Trying some new stuff with shading, not sure how I feel about it yet. XD

I hate backgrounds because I'm terrible at them, but I realize I have to draw backgrounds in order to get better at them and hate them less... but I hate them so much, I don't like to draw them. It's a horrible cycle of background-hating.

But yeah, I've been working on this on and off. The original plan was that they were the only people left on Earth, surviving alone. The veiny things were going to be vines from plants that were taking over the buildings, like you see on that show Life After People or something.

But since my mind is ridiculous, I ended up with tentacle aliens latching onto buildings and taking over/destroying the world. Because yeah.

Also, lopsided pic is lopsided. Ah, well. Just tilt your head a bit? lol
